TURKISH COMPANY WILL BUILD AN AIRPORT IN RUSSIA
Turkey’s leading contracting companies in the Ant Yapı has started the construction of a new airport in the city of Mirny in Yakutia region of Russia.
Ant Yapı, one of the top 100 contractors doing business in the international arena, started the construction of Mirny Airport in Mirny city of Yakutistan Region in Russia. Mirny Airport, which is vital for the city of Mirny, which is located in a very difficult region in terms of transportation, will fill an important gap in the region with its 3-kilometer-long take-off runways, 2.86-meter artificial runway and 18-car parking apron for different classes of aircraft.
The project, which aims to solve the transportation problem of the city of Mirny, known as the world’s belly button due to the pit formed during the extraction of precious metals, has a special importance as Ant Yapı’s first state contract in Russia. Ant Yapı, which currently has more than 25 projects in Russia and some of which are about to be completed, aims to finish Mirny Airport in 2023.
